Hailing from Groningen, The Netherlands, Savage erupts from the depths with its debut full-length assault, “Malignant Reveries”. The brainchild of Michel Jonker, Savage is a one-man studio war machine, with every riff, drum beat, and vocal performance forged by Jonker himself before being unleashed live with a full band.

Heavily influenced by the originators like Master, Repulsion, Autopsy, and the early Stockholm Death Metal scene, “Malignant Reveries” is a collision of blistering raw, punk-fueled speed, chainsaw riffs, and bone-crushing heaviness. Frenzied beats tear into massive, doom-soaked passages, capturing the untamed spirit of the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, when death metal was raw, dangerous, and utterly unpredictable.

Lyrically, the album revels in grotesque tales of horror, gore, mutilation, and resurrection, paying tribute to the splatter-soaked traditions that defined the genre’s golden age with standout tracks like “Rancorous Trails,” “Resurrection”, ”Funeral Grin,” and “Latent Deformity”!
