Hammerheart Records is proud to announce the signing of Swedish Darkwave and Gothic Rock trio Baarhus. Baarhus brings their dark, cinematic and haunting sound to a wider audience. The first step to the partnership is the re-issue of the band’s debut album “Songs Under a Darkened Sky” on CD and LP on January 15th. Pre-orders will go live later this month.

Where electronic atmospheres collide with heavy guitars, Baarhus has forged its own Darkwave and Gothic Rock sound. Hailing from Sundsvall, Sweden, Baarhus has swiftly emerged as a name in the contemporary darkwave and gothic rock scene.

Formed in 2024, the trio builds its sound on atmospheric synth landscapes, heavy guitars and baritone vocals. Rooted in the spirit of classic ’80s Gothic Rock and Post-Punk, Baarhus combines those influences with a distinctly contemporary sound, blending Darkwave atmosphere, heavy guitars and electronic production.

More details regarding the reissue, including release date and pre-order information, will be announced soon.
