“After Chaos: Nocturnal Vigil” descends beyond the aftermath of collapse into realms where runes awaken, ancient currents stir and unseen forces move beneath the surface of existence. Through eight interconnected compositions, the album follows a solitary passage through stillness, vigilance, dissolution and transformation, guided by the hidden weave of Urðr and the enduring presence that remains when all forms have fallen away.

Blending Death/Doom Metal with ritualistic atmospheres, meditative passages and cosmic depth, the album explores themes of rune magick, animism, continuity and becoming. Guest vocalist Dísa Draugurinn contributes shamanic trance-like invocations that further strengthen the album’s dreamlike and immersive character.

As a natural continuation of “Cycle of the Dying Sun (Dawn of Ashen Realms)”, the album moves deeper into the unknown, where endings reveal new thresholds and where awareness itself becomes part of the endless continuance.
