The Monolith Deathcult bring cultural development aids to Hammerheart Records

The Monolith Deathcult are happy to announce Hammerheart Records on their roster. The band has known Hammerheart mainman Guido Heijnens for years and are happy to bring his stagnating career back on track. Having just returned from 2 immensely successful shows in Greece, Robin remembers how Guido asked us “to freeze our genetic material” in case the band members will die (Guido is always very pragmatic like that). “Hammerheart has always been good for us”, says Michiel Dekker, “and now we can do something in return to help him we are willing to do that”. Carsten, busy instructing The Royal Makhachkala Philharmonic String Orchestra (Dagestan S.S.R.) for the recordings of the new album, notes, “as a macrobiotic, jainist vegan am always very involved with nature and the poor, so for me this is a form of cultural development aids to the deprived southern parts of the Netherlands”.

The Monolith Deathcult are currently working on their next release “VERSUS”, which is scheduled for April 2017, Deo Volente. As a new concept, VERSUS will be released in 3 parts over a timespan of 4 years – just like any kind of nasty but necessary medical treatment. We choose for this concept because 2017 marks the 15th birthday of The Monolith Deathcult and we opted to celebrate that by releasing our 5th album three times.
